Key Concepts

Stories

A story is your complete interactive audio experience. It contains multiple phases, audio tracks, and the logic that makes it interactive.

Phases

Phases are the building blocks of your story. Each phase represents a scene or segment of your narrative.

  • Story phases: Narration plays and choices can appear
  • End phase: Marks where your story concludes

Characters & Voices

You can create characters with different voice variations. Each variation uses a specific AI voice to give your characters distinct personalities.

Variables

Variables store state during playback. Use them to track player choices, inventory items, or any dynamic values that affect your story.

Decisions

Decisions are the player's choices. When a decision appears, players can select an option that determines which phase plays next.

Audio Layers

Your story has multiple audio layers:

  • Voice tracks: Narration and character dialogue
  • Music tracks: Background music that plays globally or per phase
  • SFX tracks: Sound effects timed to specific moments

Themes

Themes control the visual presentation and atmospheric styling of your story. Each theme has unique colors, gradients, and visual elements.

Quick Start

  1. Create your first story - Learn the basics in 5 minutes
  2. Add branching paths - Make your story interactive
